June 2022 - Court Maplewood #510 recently installed their newly elected officers.  District Deputy Maureen Trainor installed Christine Murphy as Regent, Janet Mercer as Recording Secretary and Joyce Ann Fleming as Treasurer. Absent from the installation was Katie Santangelo, Financial Secretary. A light luncheon followed in celebration of this special day.  Of special note:  The daughters of past Regent Alice Schmitt donated the beautiful Mary statue in memory of Alice.

June 21 & 23, 2022 - Court Henry A Sullivan #584 completed their First Responder Appreciation Project by presenting items of appreciation to the Danvers Fire Department on June 21 and the Danvers Police Department on June 23.  Items consisted of a plaque, service ornament, basket of snacks, prayer cards, a copy of the resolution submitted to National, a prayer of appreciation, and bookmarks showing when the court meets and where for the women in their lives.  The Fire Department also received a box of teddy bears for children in need of comfort and the Police Department received a check in support of their DARE program.  Both departments expressed their appreciate and gratitude for the gifts.

June 2022 - At their June meeting, members of Court Our Lady of Lourdes #2396 collected items for Penelope's Place, a local battered women's shelter.

June 11, 2022 Court Sacred Hearts #864, celebrating 98 years, installed their newly elected officers on Saturday, June 11, 2022 in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel  at Sacred Hearts Church in Bradford, MA.  Installation was done by Very Rev John W Delaney, Pastor and Chaplain and assisted by Judith Shooter, District Deputy.

December 11, 2021 - Court Henry A Sullivan #584 will be holding their annual Christmas Fair from 10-6 in the Father Dorgan Hall at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church.  Baked goods, raffles, crafts, jewelry, plants and Christmas arrangements, gift mugs, chances for a lottery scratch ticket board and so much more!  Click here for flyer. On-going - Trying to think of a new activity?  Court Henry A Sullivan #584 has a suggestion!  Each year for Thanksgiving we have a food drive for Operation Troop Support to send care packages to our troops.  Due to shipping costs, they have specific items that have been requested for Thanksgiving for for any time.  Click here for a list OR  they could always use monetary gifts to cover costs.

Court Our Lady of Lourdes #2396, Brockton, Massachusetts members gather to display some of the back-to-school items they purchased and are donating to "Schools On Wheels" of East Bridgewater.  Schools On Wheels provides books, school supplies and backpacks to homeless students who live in shelters, as well as training tutors and high school/college mentors to address their needs.

May 18, 2019 - Come to a Women's Retreat hosted by Court Sacred Hearts #864 being held at Sacred Hearts Church hall and Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel from 11-4.  Keynote Speaker Sister Carol Fitzsimmons will speak on prayer.  Lunch will be served.  There is no cost for this event; however, there will be a free will offering basket for the lunch.  Registration is required.  See flyer for registration information.  Click here for a flyer.

April 27, 2019 Calling all Catholic Daughters! You are cordially invited to a 90th SURPRISE birthday party celebration honoring     J Marie O'Brien on Saturday, April 27th at the Danvers Polish American Hall located at 12 Cheever Street in Danvers. This will be an open house style party from 12-3 so drop in any time to give birthday wishes to Marie and listen to Irish music. March 28, 2019Court Henry A Sullivan #584 is hosting a free slide-show presentation on the mystery of the Shroud of Turin, presented by Monsignor Murphy. Please join us on Thursday, March 28th at 7-8:30pm at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant Street, Danvers as Father enlightens us on the mysteries of the shroud and leads us to prepare for the resurrection.     July 14 - August 3, 2018 - Court Sacred Hearts #864 will be having a Collection Drive for the CRAYON INITIATIVE in our parish community in collaboration with A.C. Moore in Salem, New Hampshire.  More than a half-million pounds of crayons are discarded every year, turning into a waxy sludge that clogs our landfills.  This program recycles used crayons and sends them to children's hospitals across the United States.  So gather up those used and/or broken crayons and bring them in!  The collection will be held from Saturday, July 14th to Friday, August 3rd.  Collection boxes will be placed in the back of both churches and in the Pastoral Center office.  For more information, go to: .  For court's bulletin and Crayon Initiative flyer, click here.

     May 2018 - Court Sacred Hearts #864 located in Bradford, MA held a special community project event where they made a financial donation to Uncommon Threads and had a clothing drive for them at the May meeting.  Donations were made of clothing, pocketbooks, and felt hangars.  Their FaceBook page is UNCOMMON THREADS.  This court requests that you please take a moment to look them up and follow them on FaceBook.  Or perhaps you might take this opportunity to clean out a closet or two and look for things to donate.  Uncommon Threads is a very unique organization that helps to empower women.  Their website is:"  Please click here for a flyer.

    May 19, 2018 - Court St. Clementine #821 invites you to their annual Retreat Day at Glastonbury Abbey Conference Center on Hull Street in Hingham.  Arrive at 9AM for coffee.  Prayer is at 9:30, Quiet Reflection at 10:00 following by sharing and presentation at 10:30 by Dorothea Masuret, CSJ.     April 14, 2018 - Our Massachusetts Junior Courts are celebrating JCDA Day on Saturday, April 14th (JCDA Day is February 18th but was moved to April due to New England weather).  St. Lucy and St. Monica Parish welcomes the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and the Junior Catholic Daughters Court Our Lady of Providence #821 and Court St. Therese of Lisieux #584 in the St. Lucy Parish Hall, 254 Merrimack Street, Methuen, from 3:30 to 7:30.  Members of the Courts will gather in the parish hall by 3:30 to greet parishioners and attend the 4PM Holy Mass.  Immediately following Mass will be the installation of Officers and new members followed by a collation.  RSVP April 11th  Click for flyer

    September 30th/October 1st:  JCDA Hurricane Relief FUNDrive: The Junior Catholic Daughters of America Court St Therese di Lisieux #584  will be holding a Savers FUNDrive to benefit the Hurricane Victims. The girls are collecting gently used or unwanted clothing, accessories, shoes, bedding, towels, electronics, games, toys, knick-knacks, and sporting goods. No large furniture, please.. All items will be donated to SAVERS who will reimburse the group. JCDA will donate 100% of the reimbursement to Hurricane Relief. If you have items to donate you can bring them to the church on the weekend of Sept30/Oct1 or email for pick up.

    April 8, 2017 - The Junior Catholic Daughters of Court Our Lady of Providence #821, are having a fundraiser at St. Clement's Hall, 579 Boston Ave, Medford, from 1:00-3:30. There will be cookie decorating, egg decorating, and bingo.  Cost is $5 a person.     April 1, 2017 -  Members of Court St. Joseph #1475 invite you to a FLORAL CRAFTS & EASTER FUN DAY AT FATIMA SHRINE.  The Xaverian League of Fatima Shrine will sponsor a "Spring & Summer" decorative floral crafts sale at the Shrine, 100 Summer Street, Holliston, starting at 9AM.  Offerings are all hand-fashioned one-of-a-kind "silk" floral wreaths and other wall hangings, Easter trees, tab le centerpieces (large and small) as well as Memorial cones and crosses suitable for the cemetery.  All unique works are made by the League's talented craft committee and are reasonably priced.  at 1PM there will be an indoor Easter egg hunt for children ages 3-9, cupcake decorating, crafts, Easter story, snacks and a picture with the Easter bunny (don't forget your camera!).  Baskets can be purchased (or bring your own) for the hunt.  Open to the public and limited to 50 children.  Cost: $5/child.  Registration is required.  Call Joyce at 508-533-4453.     May 4, 2017:  Trip to Divine Mercy in Stockbridge.  Ladies, Lorraine DiMilla is planning a trip to Divine Mercy on Thursday, May 4th, from Blessed Sacrament Church 14 Summer Street in Saugus with Fr Michael Farrell.  The bus will leave Saugus at 8:30am and return about 7:30pm or so. There will be water and snacks for each way and a box lunch at noontime.  We can eat under the outdoor pavilion.  The day will be filled with activities there and plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful statuary and Stations of the Cross.     May 6 - 12, 2016 - Court St Clementine #821 wants you to be aware that it is  Nurse Recognition Week and the Carol A. Ghiloni Oncology Nursing Fellowship is celebrating its 16th anniversary. Each year the Ghiloni Fellowship provides four baccalaureate nursing students the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience about oncology nursing practice through a 10 week summer fellowship program. This program is made possible through generous philanthropic supporters.  This year one of them, Frederick C. Flynn, Jr., is celebrating the Ghiloni Fellowship and Nurse Recognition Week by matching all donations received May 2 – 13, up to $10,000. For every dollar you donate the Ghiloni Fellowship will receive $2!  The Ghiloni Fellowship makes a big impact on the lives of its participants: helping fellows make informed career choices, building confidence by doing hands-on clinical work, benefiting from the guidance of a mentor and coaching and building relationships with patients and staff. This year the program received 164 applications representing 57 different nursing schools.  With your help and Mr. Flynn’s support we can double the impact of this transformative program.     A FABULOUS IDEA!  Court Our Lady of the Presentation #1543 has found a way to promote the Year of Mercy by offering a short-story book from Dynamic Catholic entitled Everybody Needs to Forgive Somebody.  This book contains true stories about people forgiving and working together to make the world a better place.  Haven't we all experienced this at some point in our lives?  Court OLOP is working to put this book in libraries around the area to spread God's love and our motto of Unity and Charity.  Interested?  By purchasing a book for yourself or someone else you will help them raise money to put books where they may help a person struggling with forgiveness.  Cost is $5.  If interested, send your check made out to Court Our Lady of the Presentation #1543 to Mrs. Barbara Norton, 9 Presentation Road, Brighton, MA  02135

    Thursday, August 27, 2015 9:30AM - Several members of Court St. Francis of Assisi in Braintree attended the Catholic TV Mass filmed in Watertown this morning.  Go to: to view.  It will be re-telecast this evening at 7:00 and 11:00 p.m. on various cable TV stations. Father Paul Clifford, Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi and St. Clare, who is also our CDA Chaplain, celebrated the Mass.  If you have a chance to watch, he mentions the Catholic Daughters being there and how important our organization is.  He really gave us a big boost!  Our own Past Regent Mary Walsh was the reader and our current Secretary/Treasurer Karen Boyle's son, Keegan, was the altar server.
    Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 6:45p.m. - A Healing Service will be held Wednesday, May 20 at 6:45PM.  Rosary followed by Mass at the Fatima Shrine, 101 Summer Street (Rt 126), Holliston.  Rosary and Mass will be followed by Healing Prayer led by Father Francisco (Paco) Anzoátegui , Pastor of St. Steven Parish, Framingham.  The evening is sponsored by the Vision of Peace prayer group.  Fatima Shrine is handicapped accessible.  Come early and stroll around the Shrine enjoying the quiet beauty of this holy ground.  A free will offering will be taken.  Please contact Jean Rousseau with questions at 508-376-8115.
